Hi, I'm Heather E. Millar, Ph.D., MBA. Welcome! Did you know the government is legally required to accept public input? As a professor, I frequently hear the same frustration from students: they want their voices heard, and they want to be included in the policymaking process. Most people don't realize that many of the most effective tools for influencing policy are hidden in plain sight. I've spent most of my career in higher education and nonprofit leadership, with a deep, ongoing commitment to helping people participate in the systems that govern them. That path led me to a PhD in public policy, where I studied how systems of power actually work. And now, I am excited to share that knowledge with you.
